Birthday Dinner

So, I was told that after this birthday I could no longer consider myself “young” anymore. As I mentioned in a post almost one year ago, the definition of young in Japan is fairly liberal. Anyone who falls between the ages of 13-22, or seems younger than the person making the comment, is considered to be young. I wonder if I can get away with just one more year of being young. We’ll see…

Unfortunately, one of my friends working at an English conversation school in Anan was forced to cut his stay in Japan and head back to California early. We had a nice little celebration a few days before he left. Good luck Adam.
