The Last Trip of the Year

Although mainly a good one, this week did end on a bit of a sour note. I’ll try not dwell on the bad however.

A bit of a surprise trip, Mari-chan and I decided to once more make the arduous journey to the Gifu Prefecture for one last round of snowboarding for the year. The weather was great, and as much as I love Tokushima, it was nice to get out of the prefecture for the day. Well, I’ve posted a few pictures from the trip. I’ve not much more to say as life has been a bit slow. I’ll have another post up soon. As usual, I hope everyone is doing well. Keep me posted!

Tacos & Snowboarding

Although this was the third snowboarding trip of the year, the few photos that I did manage to take are only from the most recent. Sifting through my now thousands of photos, I’ve realized that I’m only actually in a tiny fraction of them. Is that something that I should try to change I wonder.

As usual, things continue to go well here in Japan. This the last day of a relatively busy month in which I found myself traveling back and forth between both Takamatsu and Okayama, making the long trek (via overnight bus) to the Gifu Prefecture, and spending every other spare moment studying Japanese and relaxing at my new favorite onsen.

Again, I hope everyone is doing well. Please, keep me posted…

Monday Evening with Mari

After a long, and somewhat difficult week at work, I’m finally able to relax and enjoy myself with Mari-chan. In fact, she’s sitting by my side as I type this. What does she have to contribute? Let me ask… “I learned that contribute means…to give money to a charity; to give money or knowledge.” And that says it all. Here’s a nice picture from today. I hope you all are doing well!
