Broken Photos in Posts

I just arrived back in my apartment after a very long trip from New York to Imabari. It’s good to be back, but it was a bit difficult leaving home. I’ll have a lot more to say about the past two weeks in a later post (which will come out within the next week or so) but I just wanted to tell you that there are a bunch of broken pictures in many of my past posts. I shifted some stuff around on my server and deleted some content. I thought the content was held in duplicate in a different directory, but it turns out that it wasn’t. It just means that I need to add the photos one by one for each post. It’s not difficult, it will just take some time. Rather than sit down and painfully do it all in one shot, I’m going to do it slowly over the next few weeks.
There’s no change to the most recent entries and you won’t notice unless you try to visit old posts. Anyway, sorry about that!
Site is Back!

For the past two days I’ve been playing around with my blog and think that I’ve finally settled on what it’s going to be for at least the next few months. I have to apologize to Andrew for having him reregister not once, but twice.
So, the main page: www.matsuuchi.com has become a ’splash page’ that just has a link to this blog as well as a message board hosted by myself. In the future, if there is a need, I’m going to branch other sites off of the matsuuchi.com domain. For now though, my blog’s address is: ‘www.matsuuchi.com/hiroki’ and the messageboard is ‘www.matsuuchi.com/messageboard’.
Simple, right?
A Lot of Tinkering

After a lot of tinkering, I finally got everything moved over from blogspot to my new account. For the few of you who do actually check in on my site every so often, I hope this new address, layout and design aren’t too much trouble. Let me know what you think!
Things in Imabari have been going well these past few months. Winter will be here shortly and the temperature has really begun dropping in the evening. Checking in on the weather in New York every so often, I realize that you guys have it much worse than I do, but even after two winters, I still haven’t quite gotten used to the cold in Japan. I’m convinced that is has something to do with the high humidity levels in this country. I’ll try to keep warm.
Also, I have a trip to the States planned for this winter that I’m really excited about. This New Year’s, it will have been two years since I’ve set foot on the main land. It’s really going to be quite nice to be back for a bit. This time around, I’ll be in the US for two weeks and have absolutely no plans for those two weeks. I really want to do a better job than I did last time in visiting and spending time with friends. I really messed it up the last time I was home. Flickr Tip

I just finished uploading my first album and changed the redirect link on the left side of this page. If you click on the ‘Full Albums’ tab, it should take you directly to my Flickr page with all of the available albums. Also, don’t forget, when you’re browsing the albums, if you click on the ‘all sizes’ button near the upper-left corner of the page, you can get a high-resolution copy of the image. The largest size is must better for printing. I hope this new system is easier for everyone! Enjoy!
